Focus Forward Friday: A weekly ritual for deepening your Bikram practice.

Today's focus: health of the spine! My lovelies, I have some news. As it turns out, my cervical spine isn't in the best of shape. I recently went to the chiropractor and discovered that things have gone from bad to worse as far as my upper curve in the neck goes. The blessing in all of it is that most of the degeneration is (mostly) fixable as long as I stick with treatment and get passionate about sitting up straight. Believe me, it's top of mind!


Anyway, I've realized this week just how important it is to have healthy posture when you're sitting at the desk, watching TV, riding the bike, etc. It's also critical to get your spine checked by a chiropractor because you may have problems without any symptoms or pain. Believe me: it's better to deal with it now, before it hurts, before the damage is irreparable.
