Aromatherapy

Last week I went in for a massage with raindrop therapy, which is basically this incredibly soothing, relaxing, and gentle technique that incorporates aromatherapy in with the massage. If you haven't tried it, I suggest checking it out!
I loved having the chance to choose the scents. My massage therapist would offer me two options and have me choose the one that felt the most appropriate to my body. Don't pick what you like the smell of so much as what seems to resonate with your body, she said. Breathe deeply, all the way down into your belly.

I chose Rosewood, Ylang Ylang, Pine, and Sage. A grounding, cleansing, purifying mix -- helpful for calming my heart and releasing physical tension and worry. Afterward I felt relieved and lighter.
