Summer Salads

Happy weekend, loves!
Today I wanted to share a few lovely summer salad recipes. This is the perfect time of year for eating dinner in the backyard in the cool evening air, just a yummy bowl of garden-fresh vegetables and light dressing. So good!

Lately I've been enjoying Litehouse dressings. The balsamic is my fave, and the homestyle ranch is really good too! I like to mix a variety of fresh chopped veggies with either of those yummy dressings.
Simple Summer Salad
- red lettuce
- spinach leaves
- tomato
- cucumber slices
- avocado
- red onion
- broccoli
- dressing of choice
You can use whatever ratio of veggies and lettuce you like! Homemade croutons, sunflower seeds, and candied walnuts also make for fancy add-ins.
Can't wait for these awesome homegrown tomatoes to ripen, too, so we can make Caprese salad!
