Self-Care Practices to Feel Nourished
/What helps you feel nourished?
How do you create wellbeing, peace and calm in your life?
Here are a few of my favorite routines that help me feel balanced.
Waking up early. Seeing the sunrise is deeply calming for me, and I love the early morning hours when it is quiet and peaceful out.
Morning movement. A gym workout, run, yoga practice or walk. Some days I work out at lunch or in the evening, but my favorite is to fit movement in first thing in the morning. It sets me up to feel energized all day.
Meditation.
Writing.
Drinking plenty of water.
Prioritizing sleep.
Regular visits to the chiropractor, float spa, and massage.
Getting outside for some sunshine.
Slowing down (even when I want to keep busy).
Salt baths.
Spending time alone.
