In 2020, I self-published three books— two short coffee-table style books, and one book of poems.

After the release of Vessel: Words to Come Home To, something really awesome happened that I wasn’t expecting…

I made $6K in a single day from my book!

And the way it happened probably isn’t what you’d think.

I made $6K in a single day from my self-published book— not because of how many copies I sold.

Because of a connection I made with an amazing new client— and because she was ready to hire me on the spot for one of my coaching programs.

I was a little shocked and extremely excited…

I had spent a few months putting together a book of POETRY— my passion project, something that didn’t even feel like work— and now I had created this opportunity to help someone awesome and be paid well for it.

One conversation.

Very little effort on my part to find the client— they came to me already interested in working together.

A natural fit— sale made.

WOW!

Writing my book had established this beautiful opportunity for me to connect with someone who:

• Knew my story

• Trusted my work

• Was ready to step into her own power and collaborate

I hung up that phone call feeling incredibly blessed and inspired— and will continue to self-publish and support others in the process after seeing how impactful it can be.

This experience has radically changed how I think about books, and why I want to help people self-publish.

The thing about becoming an author is that it does a lot more for you than just giving you a source of passive income from book sales.
