10 Ways to Stay Healthy and Vibrant Through the Holiday Season

The last few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind! Anyone else feeling that wild rollercoaster-y energy of December?

Lately I've been reminding myself to get back to basics.

Here are a few things I'm doing lately to keep my energy grounded and my immunity boosted ;)

10 Ways to Care for Yourself Right Now

1. Prioritizing sleep ~ getting to bed earlier and aiming for a minimum of 8 hours a night.
2. Supplementing with vitamin C, zinc, elderberry and oregano oil.
3. Getting outside for fresh air and sunshine.
4. Assessing my stress levels regularly. Did you know that stress is the #1 root cause of all illness?
5. Taking time to slow down and do one thing at a time.
6. Eating real foods ~ warm, cooked foods to support my digestion.
7. Drinking plenty of water and tea all day long, and adding hydration to my water on days I have a sweaty workout.
8. Checking in with myself and asking myself questions like ~ what do I need? What am I feeling in this moment? What can I let go of?
9. Doing 5 minute breaks for breathing exercises and meditation.
10. Regularly using Reiki to balance my energy.
