Resources for New Yoga Teachers
/I remember after I finished my 200-hour yoga teacher training, I still felt like I needed help.
How do I ease the nervousness?
What do I say at the very beginning and end of class?
Should I play music? Should I repeat my playlist or make a new one every time?
Before, during and after every class, I felt like my head was spinning a little bit— there was a lot to keep track of and a lot to remember.
If you’re a new yoga teacher, it can be helpful to read tips from other more experienced teachers and to get a diversity of thoughts and ideas to experiment with. The longer I’ve taught, the more I’ve realized that every teacher does things a little differently and that can be a very good thing.
Whether you’re a new yoga teacher or considering doing a training, here are some great articles and resources to check out.
